Funding

Span is funded by the Government through the Learning Skills Councils to provide Apprenticeships in Hairdressing for young people. As one of the largest hairdressing training companies in England we can secure enough funds to bring our high quality service to trainees in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. Through these subsidies and your own input we are able to offer low cost, and in many cases free, training services to our partner salons.

Early Completer Bonus

Span is introducing an new incentive scheme for all salons who complete their learners’ qualifications early. If an A learner finishes before 18 months or an AA learner finishes before 14 months, the salon receives £250 as a bonus for early achievement. This incentive scheme is open to existing as well as new learners and is available until 31^st July 2008, at which point it will be reviewed. In order to claim the early achiever bonus, your salon will need to invoice Span for £250 including VAT. This is in recognition of the hard work of salons and assessors in getting their learners qualified in a timely manner.
